The T-Pull® style FermProbe® sterilizable pH electrode is designed to be used in bioprocess applications where CIP/SIP procedures are used. Built to withstand repeated steam sterilization cycles, the FermProbe quickly stabilizes after steam exposure to be back on-line in half the time of other electrodes.

This electrode design specifies that the sterilizable pH electrode be secured to the housing by a free-spinning threaded retainer nut. This allows the electrode to be installed or
removed from the housing without twisting or disconnecting the electrode cable. Additionally, the T-Pull handle eases installation and removal of the electrode from the sensor housing.

The Model F815 FermProbe has two built-in electrolyte chambers that act to protect and isolate the sensitive inner AgCl reference half-cell. This “double junction”, dual-chamber design effectively prevents the most common failure modes of pH electrodes in biopharmaceutical applications.

T-Pull® Handle FermProbe Sterilizable pH Electrodes

The T-Pull handle eases installation and removal of the electrode from the housing. The sterilizable pH electrode can be easily removed from the housing without being rotated or twisting the cable. This greatly reduces cable fatigue.

Sensor Housings

The F-815 pH Electrode has a metric Pg13.5 threaded polymer cap allowing it to be used with European style housings. We recommend the following Broadley-James sensor housings for use with the FermProbe F-815 sterilizable pH electrode:

The T-Pull style F-815 pH Electrode uses a standard S8 detachable cable connection. We recommend the following cables for use with it:

Choose Electrode Length

If you have already chosen a sensor housing, select an electrode length with the same Class designation as the housing. The housing ordering information box also lists the correct electrode length to order. If you have not already chosen the housing, please review the recommendations next to each electrode model below.

Confirm Cable Length and Connector

Model F-815 pH electrodes require a disconnect cable and connector assembly (see Accessories tab for information about compatible cables).
