SingleSense®

SG320

Gamma Irradiated Single-Use pH Sensor with Insertion Assembly and Aseptiquik® Connector

The Model SU320 is a gamma irradiated single-use pH sensor and bellows insertion assembly equipped with a Aseptiquik® connector for aseptic attachment to a bioprocess container (BPC). Enables the operator to quickly connect the pH sensor assembly to the BPC and aseptically insert the sensor into the media. Allows BPCs to be more generic in design and sensors added by operator as required.

Category:
Saves time, reduces risk
Calibration Tag Supplies Sensor Offset and Span
All Wetted Surfaces USP Class VI, BSE/TSE/ADI Free

The Model SG320 is a gamma irradiated single-use pH sensor and bellows insertion assembly equipped with a Aseptiquik® connector for aseptic attachment to a bioprocess container (BPC). The entire SG320 assembly is assembled and double bagged in an ISO 7 cleanroom prior to gamma irradiation. Enables the operator to quickly connect the pH sensor assembly to the BPC and aseptically insert the sensor into the media. Saves operator time and reduces risk of error.

Available with choice between three common sensor connectors, with and without RTD. See Specification Sheet for part number tables

FAQs

Why choose a single-use, gamma irradiated, pH sensor assembly over a pre-installed built-in single-use pH sensor?

  1. Improved Supply Chain Logistics: Preinstalled sensors can lead to longer deliver times from BPC providers. If the BPC design is more generic, delivers are faster.
  2. Flexibility: Sensors can be added to BPC as needed and in the quantity needed
  3. Redundacy: If a backup sensor is needed, the Model SG300 series pH sensor assembly can be installed in minutes into a spare ½ inch port.

Why choose a single-use, gamma irradiated, pH sensor assembly over an autoclaved pH sensor assembly?

  1. Efficiency: Saves the time, training, equipment, and record keeping required for autoclaving sensors
  2. Ease of use: Ready-to-Use out of the box. Installs in minutes
  3. Security: Gamma irradiated. Less risk of less-than-perfect autoclave procedure. No 24 hour limit-of-use as necessary with autoclaved sensors
  4. Reduced Risk: Gamma irradiation is less stressful on the sensor than the extreme heat of autoclaving
