The Pg13.5\u00a0cap design provides for insertion and removal of the electrode\u00a0from its housing.<\/p>\n<p>Each FermProbe is steam sterilized for one hour at 135\u00b0C\u00a0before final QA tests in order to insure the highest level of\u00a0electrode reliability.<\/p>\n<p>All FermProbes have two built-in electrolyte chambers that act\u00a0to protect and isolate the sensitive inner AgCl reference\u00a0half-cell. This &#8220;double junction&#8221;, dual chamber design effectively\u00a0prevents the most common failure modes of pH electrodes in\u00a0biopharmaceutical applications.<\/p>\n<h2>Metric FermProbe pH Electrodes<\/h2>\n<p>This FermProbe style features a metric Pg13.5 threaded polymer cap that allows it to be used with European style electrode housings. Autoclavable as well as steam sterilizable, this style of pH FermProbe is the first choice for use with small autoclavable benchtop vessels. Available only in the disconnect cap style.
