Model 30 — pH/ORP Transmitter This newest analyzer is available in a single sensor input version, in an enclosure that takes up half the space of most other transmitters. This single input Model 30 may be configured as either a pH or an ORP meter.The transmitter has two 0/4–20 mA outputs that can be programmed to correspond to the measurement and temperature. Both two- and one-point calibration are available with the Model 30. Easy one point recalibration while the instrument is on-line makes adjustment after grab sample analysis quick and simple. The Model 30 features an easy-to-use, intuitive menu that makes advanced programming and calibration simple. On-screen full text and phrase prompting does away with cryptic mnemonic based instrument displays.

SPECIFICATIONS Model 30—pH Transmitter Specifications Input: Single input. Solution ground and sensor interrogation capabilities. No separate preamp required. Output: Two isolated 0/4–20 mA outputs. Can be displayed in either mA or percent. Calibration and Measurement: Measuring range is 0 to 14 pH. Single- or multiple-point calibration with auto buffer recognition. Serial Communication: None. Relays: Three programmable relays, activated according to setpoints. Each handles up to 5 amps. What is 4-20 mA • Analog signal • Current is proportional and scalable to sensor signal • Carries one measured variable in one direction • Historical standard for measurement & control The standard analog communication protocol for over 20 years. The primary variable is transmitted via a 4-20 mA current loop from the field device to the control system. Only one variable can be transmitted per loop. No secondary data is available for the control system, and the field devices can only be calibrated and configured at the device itself in the fermentation or cell culture suite.
