Keofitt sampling valves allow quick sampling from any vessel. They have very few moving parts and are quickly cleaned or sterilized between samplings to prevent residual build up. The inner radial diaphragm seal can be changed to prevent any cross-contamination. Sterile samples can also be taken with the sample bottle assembly.

These valves were first designed to be used in fermentation vessels. Due to their simple operation and solid performance, Keofitt valves can now be found in all phases of the process stream. Different body styles are available to accommodate most horizontal access.

SPECIFICATIONS

There are five parts to any Keofitt valve:

1. Valve Body — Keofitt valves are compatible with standard 25 mm ports and 25 mm B. Braun Biotech ports.

2. Actuator—The quick opening, manual actuator is easy to open especially when wearing thick or multiple layers of gloves.

3. Seals—The radial diaphragm seal within the valve assembly and the outer o-ring seal are Silicone, however, EPDM is also available.

4. Sample Inlet — 3/8" tri-clamp.

5. Steam Outlet — 3/8" tri-clamp.
