Service Description
This Service provides the customer with access to Broadley-Jamess inventory of critical BioNet components.
Broadley-James will dispatch a component within one working day following receipt of the customer’s written request.
Spares provided through this Service are provided on an exchange basis only. The customer is required to send back a like item in exchange for the Spare provided. Spares may be either new or reconditioned. If reconditioned, the Spare is warranted equivalent to new.
Spares are not provided under this Service for the purposes of updating, refurbishing, checkout, reconfiguring, calibrating, or cleaning of customer items that are otherwise functionally sound. The Service is only intended for failed item replacement.
Value
Express Module Replacement Service provides value by both protecting the Systems availability and by reducing the costs to purchase and hold spares in inventory. Fast, dependable replacement of failed System components can mean the difference between a lengthy downtime and a quick return to normal operation.
Customer Responsibilities
To activate this Service, the customer first completes the End-User System Registration Form supplied with the system, providing complete information, then submits it to Broadley-James as instructed on the form. To request module replacement, the customer should contact Broadley-James.
When contacting Broadley-James, the customer will provide the System Identification Number, the part and serial number for the item requiring exchange, and the fullest possible explanation of the problem. Broadley-James may require the customers cooperation and assistance to confirm that the requested item is the probable source of the reported problem.
The customer shall pack items for retum to Broadley-James to specifically protect them from physical and electrostatic damage during shipment. The customer should use any special return packaging or shipping documents accompanying the Spare provided by Broadley-James.
Not Included
Not included in Express Module Replacement:
Technical support for System problem fault isolation, removal or installation of Spares, software reinstallation, etc.
Field Service of the System
Spares for equipment not specifically included in the BioNet Bioreactor Control System.
Extended technical support and field service are available as separate service modules.
Charges
There is a fixed annual charge for this Service. Additional charges apply for Spare requests requiring dispatch or delivery on weekends or national holidays.
If a returned item is not received by Broadley-James within two weeks of Spare shipment, or if the returned items condition clearly indicates physical damage, unauthorized modification, corrosion, or misapplication, Broadley-James will provide the customer written notification and subsequently invoice for the Spare at the current published list price.
